Easter's Egg

HI friend, I want to know about your opinion.
Do you know why at easter we get an egg?
What the meaning of easter egg?

    in the Easter day, we celebrate the events when Jesus back to the world after died for 3 days, isn't it?? So, we celebrate the new life in Easter day. An egg represent a new life, because when an egg hatched, a chick (or maybe a reptile?? whatever...) will comes to the world. I think that's why we use egg to represent the Easter Day..

    So that is why there is competition (usually for children) to find the hidden eggs in the field
