Recap : Australian Open Grand Slam 2009

Hi guys, it's been quite a long time since I last posted something here.
I want to tell you about the result of the last game of Australian Open Grand Slam 2009 in Melbourne which has just finished a few minutes ago.

I can tell you guys, the tournament was MAJESTIC!!
There are so many incridible, unbelievable, and even heartbreaking events happened during the tournament.
The last game was between Rafael Nadal, the world number 1 against the former world number 1 (now number 2) Roger Federer. There are so much emotions involved, as the game lasted nearly four and a half hour thriller.
Many people, including some tennis legends such as Mc Enroe thought that Federer will triumph, but they all got it wrong. Nadal played tirelessly, chasing every ball and frustrate Federer, the 3 times champions of this grand slam, to win his 6th grand slam and 1st grand slam in hard court. It was truly hard to describe how this 2 superstars fought, but I'll jump straight to the prize presentation.

As, I already told you, Rafa won the match by 7-5 3-6 7-6 3-6 and 6-2. Federer could not hold his tear as he got his chance to gave a little speech to the crowd. Everyone was really caught up in his disappointment and frustration. Nevertheless, Nadal has become the first Spaniard to win Australian Slam and got his trophy presented by Rod Laver, the only man managed to win all the grand slam in one year twice, an honor that only Federer had received before (in 2006 or 2007, I forgot) when the same person presented his trophy.

Note: The match ended after midnight in Melbourne, yet the court was still filled by spectators.
