Friendship never die....

Hey guys, meet me again in this forum...
This morning, I was impressed with My Friends' opinion about "What is Beautiful?"
He drew a Friendship with his own creativity .I Think it is beautiful.
Sometimes I just think that we can see it on two sides.
In one hand,Friends as our partner. They can support us and motivate us .And we can share our feeling with them. But the other hand friend as our rival are occured when we are encouraged to surpass them.We can be a controler to each of us.And improve together.
So what is your word about friends?
Is it a partner or rival?

Thanks,

Danny

  1. well, depends on what do you think about them..
friends can be a partner or a rival..

a partner is someone we can trust to do something together in what condition and has a same goal with us..
and usually, partners are our good friend we can trust ;)

a rival is a friend who we're competing on something (like scores, achievements, etc..)..
a rival can be helpful, or will be an ignorant one (if he/she took the competition seiously lol)...
but, I think a rival is better than an "Enemy" :P

  2. For me friends more than a partner, they also my family...
My friends always with me when I'm sad or happy..
They never leave me and always support me..

I agree that sometimes my friends are also my rival, but I think they can make us more competitive. For example in our school lesson or in the other case...

Always remember, friendship is making a place for one who needs it, and providing security in an insecure world.

  3. friends:
    1. one closely attached to another by affection and esteem
    2. a colleague, associate, or comrade
    3. one who renders financial support to or who symphatizes with a cause or organization

    partner:
    1. a person associated with another in a common activity
    2. in law, one who shares capital with another in a business
    3,4,5, etc......(it's not important, I think..)

    while
    rival:
    1. the person with whom one is competing
    2. a person or thing that is capable of being competitor

I think, the differnce is in the word 'compete'. a partner didn't think about competing each other, while a rival is competing each other, but still in a good relationship (it's different with enemy & opponent)

So,based on the definition above, I choose to think all of my friend as a rival more than a partner. Why? Because I think, making all of my friends become my rivals won't give me any bad experience.

I'm sure that all of you ever hear about the law of nature: The strong one will survive
If you think all of your friends are your partner, then you won't try to compete with others. This will make you have a low competiting spirit, and you can't grow your ability as fast as other. I think, developing skills are like riding a bike. when you have a great motivation, you can increase you speed, and get closer to the endless finish line. but if you stay relax, others will leave you behind. Of course, The law of nature will show you his law, but when it is happened, it will be dificult (but it IS possible) to chase the others, who always improve their skill by competing with the others...

Besides, for me, it's better if i think 'he IS my rival', even if he didn't think I am his rival. This way, when I surpass him, I will be aware that 'he will chasing me if I stop improving my skill'. when I'm equal with him, I will think 'I want to show to him that I can be better than this' and when he surpass me, I can say 'I must try to surpass me, because he is my rival'
Isn't that good? I think, when you think everyone as your rival, by think in some different ways, you can always be motivated to improve your skills.

  4. Good question...and people will always have different perceptions to response it...

In my view...our friends ( of course in our school ) will always be our partner,in the same time they are our rival too...It's OK,nothing's wrong about that...

People usually have a negative view about rival...

For me, a healthy competition between us and our rivals is the best solution for your problem...

Can you get what I mean ???

Have you ever watched the " Laskar Pelangi " in movie...

This film show the children in their school grow up together. They try to be better than their friends in their class,to reach a bright future though they have no enough money for education...Whatever tight the competition among them to be the best student, they still help one another when one needs help...

    It's a healthy competition ...

So,when one surpassed the others,it means that he or she has done the best and really hard work of them...The judge located on the marks they have and also GOD...He knows everything about what we have done during the journey to get the top student title...

I hope my opinion can help you solving your problem...

  5. I think that if we keep our memories about our crazyness or the other thing about our friendship, it will make us laugh and remember our friend
so we can't forget our friend
