Real or Virtual Date?

Hi, there...
I have problem to solve or to take on dispute.
What do you think is better?
Virtual date?(Date via e-mail or cell phone)
Or real date?(So you meet her/him directly, talk to her/him directly)
What do you think?

  1. date:
an appointment to meet, usu. for a social event, esp. with a person of the opposite sex

so, according to the real meaning of date, I think real date is better than virtual date. But, this is possible if your place are near hers. But, nowadays, I think virtual date is also okay. You can't be near her all the time, right? Maybe, you will go abroad to study. Of course, in this condition, you won't e able to have a real date with her (except if she studies in there, too). You can't loose your dreams. In this case, I think virtual date is good enough (better than nothing..). But, you must do the real date sometimes, maybe when you have a holiday, you can go home and have a real date with her.... because improving your relationship can only be build through meetings, but if you just want to keep the relationship you ever build, you can do it through keep contact... it's like a bank. If you meet her directly, you can save a lot of money. If you keep contact with her, you pay for the administration fee. but, if you lost contact with her, your money will decreased because of the administration fee..

  2. I do not agree with a Virtual Date...

A date must be a special time for a couple, especially for character-recognizing...it will lead us into a more serious relation...

How can you recognize he or her character from a virtual date...You know, it can be different if you contact with her in a real date and from internet of a cellular phone...WOW...

So,I think you don't want if your "serious relation" like being a boyfriend or girlfriend is held in a virtual world too...Till the marriage...OMG...It's a nightmare...ha ha ha

I think I almost have the same opinion with Andre...A real date is better to do than a virtual date...It's an effect of the technology that is promoted from the advertisements from TV's programs...

  3. Real date! I agree with Calvin, it is difficult to really get to know someone over text message or e-mail. A person can pretend to be something they are not. In order to really understand a person, I think you must spend quality time with them in person.

    but, i've experienced virtual date..
we really wanted to meet each other..
    and so we finally meet,
    but..

after i met the girl, she's really different from what i have imagine be4..
i agree with Miss Rachel that we must spend quality time with the person we want to understand.. so we can go on with date with him/her.. =)

so, from now on, even though i like chatting.. i won't do any virtual dates.. or do blind dates from internet.. enough..
    lol... xD

  5. @ Milun :
that's what you got from virtual date, and without knowing anything...
for me, to do virtual date, you must first have a photo of him/her, and try to call him/her via phone...
so, you know what he/she looks like...

and still, most of the real dates is still a blind love..
dating is not easy tho -_-"
not only asking after you know a little...
