Recently there are many opportunities for people to get more income. Now teenage student have opportunities too to get money like do part-time job. There are many kind of part-time job which teenager can find around them such as the work in restaurant, supermarket, factories and houses. But mostly teenage student choose to work in restaurant and supermarket.
There are many advantages to have part time job. Teenage students can earn their pocket money by themselves. Besides getting money, they can get experience to work so they will not spend their money unwisely because they know how hard to earn money. If we compare with their friends who don’t get a job, they will be more mature, industrious, and can arrange their time better. They learn to use their skill like leadership and teamwork which they can apply at their daily lives.
Besides so many advantages, part-time jobs also have some disadvantages. Teenage students who have a part-time job will not only have less time for studying or doing homework, but also socializing or hanging out with their friends. There is another possibility, they will use their money for something which is wrong or useless, for instance they buy drugs or so gambling.
All in all, I am sure if teenage students who can mange their time properly, they are able to do as well as their classmates who do not work. I do agree when they do their job without ignore their main duty that is studying because studying is also important for their future. If they can graduate from higher education they will get more money.

HI Jane!!I agree with your opinion about part time job. if we get job, we can get more income, can't we? I often hear from people that the exchange student usually get part time job in abroad. But,We live in Indonesia now. I think to get a part time job is rather difficult. I never heard that Indonesian student can get part time job while they are still at school. Do you know where place can give part time job for student?
